Introduction
KITECH is an application-oriented research institute founded with the objective to contribute to the growth of the nation’s manufacturing industry by supporting the development of industrial fundamental technologies. KITECH enhances manufacturing processes and manufacturing system technologies through the convergence of advanced technologies in 6T areas, manufacturing technology, clean manufacturing system technology and convergence technology. KITECH also provides close-range technological support for manufacturing companies. It is through these activities that KITECH contributes to the advent of new high-value-added convergence industries and the resolution of social issues, and ultimately play a central role in strengthening the competitiveness of the nation’s industries. KITECH School is a UST school that is dedicated to educating students to be leading experts amidst the 4th Industrial Revolution and the growing global environmental regulations. KITECH School aims to cultivate global leaders with application capabilities through various inter-disciplinary research projects with the industries, in areas that combine eco-friendly industrial materials, smart manufacturing, clean processes, energy systems, robotics and more. KITECH School will continue to strive to foster excellent students that will shape our future with their own ideas.
